Students on both the Media Production and Moving Image and Multimedia Journalism courses have been working with our Media Producer Daryl Scott on this years Subject Futures Week film, documenting the annual event which offered students the opportunity to network with industry professionals across all art mediums.
Financed by the University, 11 Media Production students gained paid work experience under Daryl’s direction. Split into three crews each team filmed and interviewed industry professionals including high profile people from the likes of; Vogue, Sky TV and the BBC.
As well as producing an edited highlights film the team was also able to turn round single interviews with guest speakers throughout the week so content was available for students during the event.
Since September, Daryl Scott who is a graduate of the Media Production and Moving Image course has been working on a variety of projects including producing and editing The Subject Futures video on behalf of the School of the Arts.
The film has been well received and is now being shown to all applicants and guests to Arts courses.
