Shooting “The Undercover Hippy”

Cavan McLaughlin has recently released his latest music promo. The video, made for Bristol based singer songwriter Billy Rowan, aka The Undercover Hippy, was shot on one gruelling 14 hour day using funds raised through Kickstarter.

The video was produced, directed and edited by Cavan and features cinematography by his long term collaborator Jason Weidner.

“Boyfriend” is the first single from the new album “Monkey Suit”, an album which was 3 years in the making, and fuses multiple genres, from reggae to hip-hop, folk to pop, but all held together by Billy’s signature style of vocal delivery and lyrical content. The track was originally featured on an earlier EP and remains one of the act’s most popular songs to date so there is real hopes that with Cavan’s quirky, fun and consciously playful music promo, will help the track go viral.

The single’s official release date was March 2nd and is available on iTunes and all the usual places.
